The activity was led by Sgt Rod Merc L Gascon (Res) PA, MDOC ROTCU Coordinator together with the First Class, with support from the Second Class. The day began with the Buwan ng Wika seminar featuring guest speaker Sir Arniel G Castillo, hosted by Maโ€™am Jelou B Poblete and a NSTP Coordinator. Our very own College President, Dr. Anthony Pol P Fulache, together with Vice President Maโ€™am Donita Mae C Vallera, also delivered an inspiring message about the event. The program highlighted discipline, unity, and cultural pride, making the day both meaningful and memorable.

The activity provided valuable lessons on leadership and responsibility, preparing members for future challenges. Alongside this, the unit proudly attended the Buwan ng Wika 2026 seminar with the theme โ€œWikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.โ€ Their participation reflected not only military discipline but also cultural pride and respect for the national language. This event marked another meaningful step in shaping cadets into wellโ€‘rounded leaders committed to service, tradition, and the advancement of knowledge.

A day filled with learning and discipline. The program began with a lecture on military courtesy and discipline delivered by SGT Rod Merc L Gascon to the COCC and the basic cadets and cadettes. At the same time, CPL Rameses G Pavillar gave an insightful lecture on the AFP Code of Ethics to the second-class cadets, emphasizing values that guide soldiers in service and leadership. These sessions provided cadets with a deeper understanding of respect, professionalism, and ethical responsibility. At exactly 0100H, the unit continued with drills and ceremonies practice, reinforcing teamwork, precision, and discipline in action. The combination of lectures and practical exercises made the formation not only a routine activity but also a meaningful training experience. Through this, the MDOC ROTC Unit reaffirmed its commitment to shaping cadets into responsible, disciplined, and service-oriented leaders of tomorrow.

The unit extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the organizers, faculty, and leaders who made the program possible and invited ROTC to be part of it. ๐ˆ๐ ๐๐‡๐Ž๐“๐Ž๐’|| At exactly 180800H on July 2026 MDOC ROTC UNIT successfully conducted the ROTC orientation and briefing, and the First regular formation, Led by Sgt Rod Merc L Gascon (Res) PA, MDOC ROTC COORDINATOR, along together with Sgt Junald B Cabrera (Res) PA, and the GMA (Graduate Military Assistant) Cpl Jhonwell B Ornido (Res) PA, Cpl Rameses G Pavillar (Res) PA, Cpl Angel E Carreon (Res) PA, with the help of 1st class Cdt/Maj Alessa T Intia 1cl ( S1), Cdt/Lieutenant Colonel Albeno Menio 1cl (Corps Commander), Cdt/Maj Alejandro masanguid 1cl (S4), Cdt/ Maj Jecris V Villarmino 1cl (S7), Cdt/Maj Christine Dangcalan 1cl (S3), Cdt/Maj Jhonrey Villacura 1cl and the 2nd class cadets.
