The Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) successfully conducted the Localized ADAC Performance Audit 2026 Pre- Assessment today, with the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) Team of Davao de Oro serving as the official auditors.

This initiative highlights the continuing commitment of the LGU Mabini and its partners to strengthen local anti-drug efforts, ensure accountability, and sustain effective programs for community resilience and safety.

In preparation for the upcoming Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) Functionality Audit, the Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) of Mabini extended technical support to all 11 barangays, in close coordination with the Municipal Local Government Operations Office (MLGOO). This initiative aimed to enhance compliance with the audit’s key indicators, including organizational structure, community-based interventions, and documentation protocols.

Through targeted coaching and validation sessions, barangay officials were guided on the proper consolidation of Means of Verification (MOVs), alignment with DILG-DDB Joint Memorandum Circular 2018-01, and strategic planning for sustained anti-drug advocacy efforts2.

This collaborative effort underscores Mabini’s commitment to a drug-free community and institutional excellence in local governance.

On August 9, 2025, in collaboration with the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Libudon and in celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) conducted a youth-focused symposium as part of the Anti-Drug Abuse Campaign. The activity aimed to raise awareness on the dangers of illegal drugs, promote preventive education, and empower young leaders to become advocates for a drug-free community. This initiative highlighted the importance of inter-agency cooperation and youth participation in sustaining local efforts toward peace, order, and public safety.
