Another unforgettable journey unfolded at Mt. Apo – Digos Trail as climbers from different places experienced the beauty and challenge of the country’s highest peak. From 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 27 – 𝗠𝗮𝘆 10, 2026, trekkers conquered the scenic trails of Digos Side—discovering breathtaking landscapes, cool mountain air, and the rewarding spirit of adventure.

Every ascent represents courage, teamwork, and respect for the natural wonders of Mt. Apo. Beyond the summit experience, each trek becomes a meaningful connection with nature and the local communities protecting the mountain.

The Digos City Tourism Office sincerely thanks all accredited mountain guides, porters, and partner organizations for their continued dedication in maintaining safe, organized, and sustainable climbing activities along the trail.

The adventure continues as Mt. Apo – Digos Side welcomed another remarkable stretch of climbs.

From 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟯 – 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, mountaineers and nature enthusiasts took on the Digos Trail—embracing its challenges while witnessing the breathtaking beauty of Mount Apo, the highest peak in the Philippines.

Each climb is more than just reaching the summit—it is a journey of strength, perseverance, and a deeper appreciation of nature’s wonders.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated mountain guides and porters for ensuring that every climb remains safe, well-managed, and memorable for all participants.

In line with the observance of the Holy Week, the monitoring team was actively deployed at Mount Apo – Digos Side to ensure the safety, order, and well-being of all climbers along the trail.

From trail checkpoints to campsite areas, continuous monitoring was conducted to manage climber flow, enforce regulations, and promote responsible mountaineering practices. This initiative also ensured the protection and preservation of the mountain’s natural environment during the peak season.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our dedicated monitoring team, mountain guides, porters, and partner agencies for their commitment and teamwork in making this Holy Week climb safe, organized, and meaningful for everyone headed by our City Tourism Officer Perla May Demafeliz-Griffin together with the City Administrator Rex Cagas.

Let us continue to climb responsibly, respect nature, and protect Mount Apo for future generations.
