The year 2025 has been a year of service, growth, and meaningful impact for the youth of Tres De Mayo. Through youth-centered programs, community initiatives, and collaborative efforts, the Sangguniang Kabataan ng Tres De Mayo remained steadfastly committed to empowering youth and contributing to the barangay's continued development.

Guided by the leadership and dedication of the Sangguniang Kabataan Officials, SK TDM strengthened its mission of promoting active youth participation, responsible leadership, and stronger community engagement.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Tres de Mayo, led by 𝗦𝗞 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗷𝗼, extended meaningful support to bring smiles and hope to the children and residents of Balamban, Cebu Province. Through simple gifts and shared moments, the team aimed to uplift spirits and remind the community that they are not alone during challenging times.

This outreach initiative was made possible through a partnership with the 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁, united by the common goal of reaching out to families affected by the recent typhoon. Together, they delivered not only assistance but also compassion and solidarity.

Service beyond borders continues to be a steadfast commitment of SK Tres de Mayo, ensuring that help, care, and kindness reach communities wherever they are needed most.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐊𝐚𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦: 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 | 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟎𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Tres de Mayo, led by SK Chairman Leonard Dominic Labajo, brings its flagship initiative to the youth of Barangay Kiagot, Digos City. The donated books were formally turned over to SK Chairperson Queen Rose Padillo, together with the barangay staff of Kiagot.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺: 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 is a year-round book donation drive spearheaded by SK Tres de Mayo. Its success would not be possible without the generous support of donors and partners. The books will help provide communities with limited or no access to reading materials.

We seek the truth. We demand justice for Kap. Oscar "Dodong" Bucol. Truth should never be silenced by a bullet. As we have the walk for justice, the Sanguniang Kabataan of Tres de Mayo stands united, raising our voices in support of calling for fairness and accountability for the untimely death of our beloved Barangay Captain, whose dedication and service to our community deserve nothing less than justice.

The 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼 proudly represented the City of Digos in 𝗚𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗱 𝗦𝗶𝗯𝗼𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, a search for the most outstanding Sangguniang Kabataan in Davao del Sur. With consistency, passion, and unwavering commitment, we were declared 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝟮 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟯𝟮 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿.

The projects and programs we have accomplished reflect our dedication to genuine public service, and the awards and recognitions we have received embody the quality of our leadership. This is what the youth of Tres de Mayo and the City of Digos truly deserve, an SK that continues to strive for excellence.

We hope our people understand that awards are tangible results of objective measures of good governance. This is how we show our constituents that their leaders are genuinely working for a thriving youth government, and this is how they can be assured that they have chosen the right leaders, leaders who do not exploit but instead sacrifice for the community to rise.

The Sangguniang Kabataan ng Tres de Mayo proudly represented the City of Digos in the Provincial SK Assessment for Gawad Sibol 2025, showcasing its projects, programs, activities, and commitment to good governance.

Through this presentation, SK TDM highlighted its dedication to empowering the youth and fostering positive impact within the community.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Tres de Mayo actively participated in the Reading Month celebration at Pedro V. Basalan Elementary School by conducting an engaging story reading activity for the students. The initiative highlighted the importance of fostering a love for reading, developing imagination, and nurturing critical thinking among young learners.

Through this activity, SK Tres de Mayo continues to support the educational growth of the youth in the community, empowering them to explore new ideas and embrace the joy of learning.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Tres de Mayo extended its full support and contribution to the relief operations conducted by the Rotaract Club of Cebu 3rd District for the victims of the recent typhoon in Cebu Province. Through this collaborative effort, SK Tres de Mayo helped provide essential supplies and assistance to affected families, demonstrating its commitment to community service and disaster response.

The initiative reflects the SK’s dedication to supporting those in need and strengthening solidarity within the community during challenging times.

The Sangguniang Kabataan ng Tres de Mayo remains deeply committed to supporting the career readiness and economic empowerment of its youth—one of its core pillars of participation.
