DIGOS CITY – The Digos City District Jail – Female Dormitory (DCDJ-FD) coordinated with the PhilHealth Office in Digos City on July 14, 2026, to facilitate the PhilHealth membership registration of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) and strengthen awareness of available healthcare programs.

Under the leadership of JCINSP ELLEN ROSE C SARAGENA, Jail Warden, JO2 Mary Karle Y Chua, Jail Nurse, and JO2 Jerrylyn B Rocacorba, Unit Liaison/CRS Officer, visited the PhilHealth Office along Roxas Extension, Digos City, to discuss the registration process and conduct an information drive on the YAKAP Program and other PhilHealth programs and services.

The coordination reinforces the partnership between DCDJ-FD and PhilHealth in ensuring that eligible PDL have access to essential healthcare benefits while also keeping jail personnel informed of available PhilHealth services. The initiative supports the unit's commitment to promoting the health, welfare, and rehabilitation of PDL through accessible and responsive healthcare programs.

Digos City – Under the leadership of JCINSP ELLEN ROSE C SARAGENA, personnel of this unit conducted a media engagement activity with Nonglading Radio Station on July 13, 2026, at Rizal Avenue, Digos City.

Represented by JO2 Jerrylyn B Rocacorba and JO1 Dyan Sushmita C Adduk, Community Relations Service (CRS) Officers visited the radio station to establish media linkages and strengthen collaboration with local media partners.

The activity aimed to enhance public information dissemination, promote the facility’s programs and accomplishments, and reinforce transparency through strengthened media engagement.

The activity highlighted the importance of preparing nutritious, sustainable, and environmentally friendly meals while fostering creativity, teamwork, and practical life skills among our PDLs. More than a competition, it served as a meaningful opportunity to promote rehabilitation, self-improvement, and hope through learning and positive engagement.
