The visibility of the BFP fire truck in the community plays an important role in promoting fire safety awareness, preparedness, and public confidence in emergency response services. It serves as a visible reminder to residents of the importance of fire prevention and safety practices while demonstrating the readiness and presence of the Bureau of Fire Protection during emergencies. This initiative also strengthens the relationship between BFP personnel and the community by encouraging cooperation, awareness, and prompt reporting of fire-related incidents.

Road clearing operations are essential in ensuring the unobstructed passage of fire trucks during emergencies. They help reduce response time, prevent delays caused by road obstructions, and facilitate the timely delivery of firefighting and rescue services. This initiative also strengthens coordination between the BFP and local government units, promoting community safety and effective emergency response.

Maintaining personnel in good health and physical condition is essential to ensure they remain fit, alert, and capable of performing firefighting, emergency response, rescue, and other duties effectively and safely. Furthermore, such activities foster camaraderie and contribute to a healthier, more productive, and resilient workforce within the BFP.

Earlier today, the Bureau of Fire Protection Region 9, under the leadership of 𝗙𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐊𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐋 𝐓 𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐔𝐋, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Regional Director, and the supervision of 𝗙𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗟𝗨𝗖𝗜𝗢 𝗣 𝗔𝗟𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗡, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Provincial Fire Marshal, Shift-B personnel of Dimataling Municipal Fire Station, led by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐒𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐦 𝐒 𝐃𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚-𝐓𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥, responded to a Special Rescue Operation involving a Geely car had fallen off a cliff at Brgy. Buburay Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur.

A joint special rescue operation was made earlier this morning involving a Geely car that fell off a cliff, but fortunately no casualties were reported. The incident was quickly responded to by the personnel of Dimataling Fire Station, MDRRMO personnel, and the PNP personnel of Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur and promptly arrived at the scene and carried out safety measures and verified that all individuals were safe. The coordination and timely efforts of all responding agencies ensure an effective rescue.
