LOOK: In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Enhanced-Managing Police Operations, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, and under the supervision of PMAJ KAROL JOSEPH A RICAFORT, Officer-in-Charge, RECU 13, personnel from the Provincial EOD and Canine Unit (PECU) Surigao del Norte conducted a Render Safe Procedure (RSP) on three (3) pieces of bottle Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).

The IEDs were confiscated during a joint anti-illegal fishing operation off Brgy. Jubang, Dapa, Surigao del Norte, by local police and maritime teams. The Dapa MPS turned over the items, which are now with the investigator for the filing of the appropriate complaint in court.

This successful intervention underscores our strengthened operational readiness and reflects our unwavering commitment to community safety by ensuring hazardous materials are managed with professional precision.

LOOK: In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Enhanced-Managing Police Operations, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, and under the supervision of PMAJ KAROL JOSEPH A RICAFORT, Officer-in-Charge, RECU 13, personnel of the Provincial EOD and Canine Unit (PECU) Dinagat Islands successfully conducted a Render Safe Procedure (RSP) on a turned-over military ordnance in Dinagat Islands.

Following the voluntary surrender of one (1) piece of ammunition by a concerned citizen, the item was turned over by the Intel PNCO of CIDG Dinagat Island PFU. The EOD team immediately executed a successful render safe procedure and was properly secured with no untoward incidents. The secured item is now under the custody of this office for proper disposition and documentation prior to disposal.

This successful turnover underscores our strengthened operational readiness and reflects our unwavering commitment to community safety by ensuring hazardous materials are managed with professional precision.

The activity was conducted to commemorate the bravery, heroism, and sacrifices of Filipino soldiers and veterans who fought for the country’s freedom Personnel rendered honors and paid tribute to the gallant defenders of the nation, whose courage continues to inspire present day uniformed service members.
