GOODMORNING...
This might sound ironic but the truth to tell, never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that one day I will become an elected official. While i did not think of myself as a politician in traditional sense, Public Service, on the one hand was a calling close to my heart, even when I was young.
Fate has been kind to mein 2004 I join the race as SB Member in my hometown as an Independent Candidate and luckily gain the no. 7 rank then gain the no. 5 rank in 2007. In 2010 and 2013, I lost the election, but I never stop until in 2016-2019 I won back and it was in 2019 when I won as the Provincial Federation President, looking back in the past 3 years it was exceptionally challenging because I have to work as a SB Member and as Board Member at the same time mahirap peru it was a rewarding experience for me, dahil Hindi naman lahat ng tao ay nabibigyan ng kahalintulad ng pagkakataon.
Today it is not my intention to list out all that i have accomplished, I believe they speak for themselves, but rather I would like to take this opportunity to offer some of my impressions on how things fared in my work as a board member of our beloved Province.What comes to my mind first and foremost is my strong commitments and engagements to serve the people with integrity. Noong 2020 sinubok po tayo ng pandemia ug gitiwasan ni Odette last December 16,2021 ngunit lahat ng ito ay ating nalampasan dahil sa ating pagtutulungan kahit paman nagkakaiba ang ating Political Affiliation, while the performance outcome done have not been to the expectation of others. I will let history decided. What kind of leader I am.
In dealing with emergency situation in a timely and Constructive manner. I believe these issues remains pertinent and they should remain in the back of our minds, as we move forward the agenda of the new Administration. GOD HAS HIS WAY, today is my last day as Councilors and Board Member for now I will go back to my private life and spend the rest with my family and love ones. But the good memories will always remain in my heart forever.
Before concluding, permit me to express my highest thanks, first of all to our Lord Almighty for the opportunity given to me to serve his people.
