On March 19, 2026, BFP SRF- Zamboanga Sibugay led by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟐 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐌 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐨, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐒𝐑𝐅-𝐙𝐒𝐏 together with the Imelda MFS facilitated the Imelda Rescue and Fire Olympics 2026 Barangay Category.

These types of events not only shows competition but are also vital in molding each barangay's capabilities to handle various emergencies as a first line of defense at each respective AOR.

The Earthquake Drill is important because it prepares individuals and communities for real earthquakes. Since earthquakes happen without warning, the drill trains people to respond quickly, correctly, and calmly during an emergency.

On March 06, 2026, The BFP SRF- Zamboanga Sibugay spearheaded by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟐 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐌 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐨, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐒𝐑𝐅-𝐙𝐒𝐏, participated in the ''KALASAG SIBUGAY'' Inter-Agency Territorial Defense Operation Exercise which was joined by different government agencies and uniformed units held in Tungawan, Zamboanga Sibugay.
The activity aims to enhance and strengthen resiliency, preparedness, ability to handle emergency and security involvement disasters.
This activity showcases the BFP's enduring service to national disaster preparedness and assistance to public safety.
