This is “Tatay Salag.”

Siya ang tag-iya sa kubo duol sa signage ug sa cornfield nga nagpalibot sa peak. He has lived most of his life in Bandera, and this place is part of his home and livelihood.

If you happen to meet him, palihog show respect. If you’d like, you may also offer him gamay nga cash or some goodies—especially if you decide nga magtambay kadyot sa iyang balay. Even though he doesn’t ask for anything in exchange, a small gesture would mean a lot.
