Government officials and employees are reminded that participating in or attending cockfighting (sabungan), gambling, or other forms of prohibited gambling activities is not allowed, in accordance with Civil Service Commission rules. Let us uphold integrity, discipline, and professionalism in public service and be good examples to the communities we serve.

Under CSC Resolution No. 2600111 โ Policy on the Prohibition of Gambling Among Government Officials and Employees, gambling is BANNED in entering, staying, or participating in gambling venues.
๐ This includes ALL government officials and employees, including the Mayor, Vice Mayor, Municipal Councilors/Sangguniang Bayan Members, Barangay Captain, Barangay Kagawad, and other government employees.
Even simple entry or stay at a gambling venue may be a violation, unless it is part of an authorized official duty.
๐ฏ Cockpit arenas and other places of gambling, as well as online gambling, e-sabong, cockfight betting, and other forms of gambling are prohibited.
โ ๏ธ PENALTY:
โข 1st offense โ Reprimand
โข 2nd offense โ Suspension of 1 to 30 days
โข 3rd offense โ Dismissal from service
This is not just a simple "no gambling while on duty." It is prohibited even outside office hours.
Being a public servant comes with responsibilityโwhether in the office or outside of it. Public office is a public trust. ๐ต๐ญ
