โจ Empowering the Youth, Building Brighter Futures! โจ
The 4Ps City Operations Office of Dumaguete City successfully conducted a 2-Day Youth Development Session (YDS) participated in by 60 4Ps youth beneficiaries, comprising 50 in-school youth beneficiaries and 10 not-attending-school (NAS) youth beneficiaries from different barangays of Dumaguete City.
The activity became a meaningful space for young participants to learn, reflect, interact, and express themselves through engaging discussions and interactive workshops focused on youth development, self-awareness, communication, adolescent changes, emotional well-being, responsible decision-making, body image, and life skills development.
Through the YDS, participants were encouraged to better understand themselves and others, strengthen their confidence, build positive relationships, and become more responsible and empowered young individuals in their families and communities. The session also highlighted the importance of mental and emotional wellness, teamwork, respect, and developing a positive mindset as they prepare for their future.
This 2-day YDS activity was made possible through the generous support and funding of the following:

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the City Community Relations Officer, Mr. Agustin Miguel M. Perdices, who attended the activity on behalf of the City Mayor, for his words of encouragement he shared with our youth participants.
Likewise, our sincere thanks to the City Social Welfare and Development Officer, Mrs. Lilibeth A. Filipinas, and the City Gender and Development Focal Person, Ms. Aveangel S. Alcorin, for gracing the activity and for sharing their inspirational messages that motivated and encouraged our youth to continue dreaming, growing, and striving for a better and brighter future.
