The ceremony serves as a meaningful reminder of our collective responsibility to uphold the ideals symbolized by our national flag and to continue serving the Filipino people with dedication, honor, and commitment.

๐—Ÿ๐—ข๐—ข๐—ž: The Coast Guard Nursing Service Sub-Unit Southern Visayas (NSSU-SV) conducted a Basic Life Support (BLS) Orientation for the NSTP-CWTS students of La Consolacion College Bacolod, Bacolod City on 05 Semptember 2025.

The educational session is part of the PCG-Oriented NSTP CWTS 1 Module which is purposively programmed to inculcate disaster resilience and emergency readiness to our youth. The module doesn't only serve for life-saving capacitation but also facilitates value formation through development of civic consciousness and social responsiveness especially in times of emergency, while honing them to become nation builders and future leaders. This covered CPR, AED use, and recognition of cardiac arrest, equipping students with essential knowledge and skills to respond to emergencies.

Through continuous training and community engagement, NSSU-SV remains committed to empowering the youth and provide them sturdy foundation towards responsible citizenship.

๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š : The Coast Guard Station Siquijor, under the leadership of Lieutenant Junior Grade Riza T Geneblaza PCG, conducted a Simultaneous Coastal Cleanup in connection with the Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo) 2026 on 04 September 2026 at Paliton Beach, Brgy. Paliton, San Juan, Siquijor.

The activity was actively participated in by Coast Guard Station Siquijor personnel, Coast Guard Sub-Station personnel, MEPU-Siquijor, and Barangay Officials of Brgy. Paliton. Approximately ten (10) sacks of assorted waste and debris were collected from the coastal area, contributing to the preservation and cleanliness of Siquijorโ€™s marine and coastal environment.

The Philippine Coast Guard remains committed to promoting environmental protection and strengthening community participation in safeguarding our coastal and marine resources. Through initiatives such as MANA Mo 2026, the Coast Guard continues to encourage everyone to take part in keeping our seas and shores clean, safe, and sustainable.

In commemoration of Maritime Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo) 2026, the Maritime Domain joins the month-long celebration with the theme "Karapatan sa Karagatan, Sama-sama Nating Alagaan".

In this campaign, the Coast Guard Station Southern Negros Occidental (CGS SNOC) and its Sub-Stations headed by LTJG James C Carbajosa PCG together with MEPU-SNOC, MSSU-SV and MARSLEG personnel recently conducted simultaneous coastal clean-up and mangrove planting activities in various coastal areas within their areas of responsibility.

Through PCG iCARE, these activities were successfully conducted with the support of Stakeholders, Brgy. Officials, and partner agencies from national and local government units of different cities and municipalities.

The Philippine Coast Guard continues to uphold its commitment to protect our marine environment and build resilient coastal communities through strong partnerships and interagency collaboration.
