📢 A FRIENDLY REMINDER TO ALL BALANGKAYANONS

DILG Secretary Jonvic Remulla, in a press conference today, announced the enforcement of the Anti-Public Intoxication Act, which prohibits alcohol intoxication in public places.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has instructed local authorities to enforce this law to ensure the safety and well-being of all citizens.

We remind all Balangkayanons to conduct their drinking sessions in private residences and closed areas, and avoid public intoxication to avoid penalties and ensure safety of our community.

✅ Public places include streets, parks, plazas, sidewalks, markets, public transportation areas, and other open or commonly used spaces.

✅ The press conference also emphasized the strict enforcement of a 10:00 PM curfew for individuals under 18 years old. Parents and guardians are encouraged to ensure compliance.

❌No topless in public - Individuals must remain properly clothed at all times in public spaces
