Still feeling all the joy and pride from our Women’s Month celebration last March 25, 2026, at Municipal Gymnasium, Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat💜With the theme “Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas,” this event became more than just a program-it was a heartfelt gathering of strong, inspiring, and empowered women coming together as one community. Seeing everyone show up, support each other, and celebrate womanhood in such a genuine way made everything truly special.
One of the most memorable parts of the celebration was our Search for Gandang Nanay. It wasn’t just about beauty-it was about real stories, real strength, and the kind of love and dedication that mothers carry every single day. Watching each participant confidently share themselves on stage was honestly touching and inspiring.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Hon. Annabelle Midtimbang Ploteña, our SPDA Board of Director, for guiding us and making this event possible. Your dedication and leadership mean so much to all of us.
To our beloved Mayor Junjun Ploteña, thank you for your untiring support and commitment for recognizing the important role women play in our community.
A special thank you as well to Hon. Lynette Apud for your continued support as committee chair on social services.
