The RPSB Team Garcia - Tapaz, Capiz , led by PLT JONATHAN ALANO,Team Leader, in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Capiz, headed by Engr. Michael L. Gison, Provincial Director, successfully facilitated the granting of Php 500,000.00 under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) for the Water Refilling Station Project of the Barangay Garcia Farmers Association. The grant was awarded on March 26, 2025, at the Capiz Police Provincial Office, Brgy. Lanot, Roxas City, Capiz. The check was received by Hon. Nestor Gloria, Barangay Garcia Chairman, along with Mr. Eleazar Cebuano, President of the Garcia Farmers Association.

In addition, DOLE Capiz, in partnership with Capiz PPO led by PCOL ALBERT D TAPULAO, Provincial Director, launched the "SANYOG K.A.P.I.S." project, which stands for Sanyogon ang Pangabuhian sang Kabataan, Agrikultura, Panagat, Industriya kag Siyensya. This initiative aims to uplift the livelihood of Capizeños by promoting sustainable opportunities in youth development, agriculture, fisheries, industry, and science. It underscores CPPO’s dedication to community empowerment through multi-sectoral partnerships and livelihood assistance.

This initiative ensures that farmers and their families have a steady source of income while addressing the growing demand for potable water. By managing and operating the water refilling station, they gain valuable skills in business operations, customer service, and financial management. More importantly, the project strengthens community resilience by fostering cooperation and self-reliance.

The RPSB Team Garcia - Tapaz, Capiz led by PLT JONATHAN ALANO, Team Leader, in collaboration with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Capiz, Dumalag Vocational Technical School (DVTS), and the Local Government Unit of Tapaz, successfully concluded the Graduation Ceremony for 73 students who completed NC I and NC II Masonry Training and NC II Carpentry Training on December 11, 2024, at the PAGCOR Education Center, Brgy. Carida, Tapaz, Capiz.

The graduation ceremony for the TESDA Masonry and Carpentry Training under the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) was a momentous occasion, marking a significant milestone in the lives of its participants.

The event was attended by Mr. Kenneth Laveroza, representing Director Rick Abraham, Provincial Director of TESDA Capiz; Ma’am Revie Frebaldos, Vocational Technical School Administrator; Hon. Roberto Palomar, Tapaz Municipal Mayor, accompanied by Ma’am Milagros Palomar and Dr. Chad Bryan Hilado; Hon. Judith Balijo, Brgy. Chairman of Carida; Hon. Jimmy Garbosa of Brgy. Sta. Ana; Kagawad Babylyn Gicole, representing Hon. Nestor Gloria, Brgy. Garcia; and PCOL ALBERT D TAPULAO, Provincial Director of Capiz PPO, duly represented by PCPT DANDY DELFIN, Assistant Force Commander of the 2nd CPMFC.

This initiative falls under the 𝐏𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 (𝐏𝐑𝐋𝐄𝐂), one of the efforts of the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘁 (𝗡𝗧𝗙-𝗘𝗟𝗖𝗔𝗖), chaired by TESDA. PRLEC aims to develop self-reliant, productive, resilient, and sustainable communities through harmonized and culturally responsive development programs.

Highlighting the ceremony was the acknowledgment of the hard work, determination, and dedication demonstrated by the graduates. Over the course of their training, these individuals acquired essential skills in masonry and carpentry, equipping them with competencies that open doors to meaningful employment opportunities and entrepreneurial ventures.

Part of the 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙮𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 (𝙎𝙏𝙀𝙋) and Executive Order 70, this initiative addresses local skill needs and promotes employment by equipping trainees with critical skills for job readiness and community advancement.

𝘿𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙜 𝙑𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡-𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 (𝘿𝙑𝙏𝙎) remains committed to delivering high-quality, accessible, and relevant technical-vocational education and training, supporting the objectives of EO 70 through effective community engagement and training programs.

This graduation marks not just the end of a training program but the beginning of new journeys for each graduate. With their honed skills and determination, they are now poised to make a significant impact in their communities and beyond, embodying the vision of empowerment and progress championed by TESDA's STEP initiative.

The RPSB Team Garcia - Tapaz, Capiz , led by Pat Vargas and Pat Eudela under the supervision of PLT JONATHAN ALANO, Team Leader, participated in the recently concluded "𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽" (𝗧𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗹𝗲𝗿, 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁) held at Garcia Elementary School, Brgy. Garcia, Tapaz, Capiz, on December 6, 2024.

As part of the RPSB initiative "𝗣𝗨𝗟𝗜𝗦 𝗕𝗨𝗗𝗗𝗬! 𝗞𝗮𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗮𝗻," the team conducted a practical session on "Knot Tying" for tent building. Teaching Girl Scouts how to tie knots for tent setup is a valuable skill that fosters self-reliance, teamwork, and outdoor preparedness.

The RPSB Team Garcia - Tapaz, Capiz led by Pat Ernie Eudela and Pat Ronie Vargas under the supervision of PLT JONATHAN ALANO, Team Leader, conducted actual demonstration and on-hand lecture about "𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙘 𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙏𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜" under the "𝗣𝘂𝗹𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗱𝘆! 𝗞𝗮𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗮𝗻" - imparting life lessons focusing on nationalism, GMRC, and Character Development to the students of Garcia Elementary School in Barangay Garcia, Tapaz, Capiz last Nov 22, 2024.

The workshop aimed to teach students not only the art of crafting strong, reliable knots but also the importance of patience, focus, and problem-solving.

The session began with an introduction to the uses of knots in daily life, from securing loads and camping to emergency rescue situations. Under careful guidance, the students learned simple yet effective knots.
