Support pours for Gensan frontliners
Various firms, organizations, businessmen and professionals put up a united effort in supporting frontliners in mitigating the spread of COVID-19 in General Santos City.
Bayanihan Gensan Laban sa COVID-19 came up as the General Santos City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. collaborated its efforts with Brigada Group, which acts as project facilitator, through its social responsibility arm- KaBrigada Foundation Inc.
The project is in gratitude to frontliners like, health workers, rescue groups, police and military officials in the different checkpoints, firemen and other emergency personnel for their dedication and service.
Since March 27, freshly cooled hot meals are being distributed to every checkpoints, hospitals, barangays and other emergency offices for the doctors, nurses, police, military, volunteers and many more.
The Bayanihan project is supported by such firms and individuals as DRU Construction; Sto. Niño Aqua Fishing Venture Corp.; Rotarian Rowena Manansala; Rotarian Danny and Vannesa Uy; Rotarian Myra and Bobby Atendido; Rotarian Jon James Montecillo and Our Good Deliveranz.
Business firms like Sea Trade Canning Corporation; Marteqs Meatshop; Scan Marine Inc.; Felix Pontino Jr.; Petron Calumpang; Robert Ong; Thunidae Venture Corp.; Jocelyn Vendivil; NRT Fishing and Seagull Fishing have also taken part in this initiative.
