‎This afternoon at 1:00 PM, 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐀𝐥𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐙. 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧, 𝐋𝐂𝐁, Committee Chairman on Transportation, together with the active Municipal Mayor 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐙𝐲𝐫𝐞𝐱 𝐂. 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐚𝐨, 𝐋𝐏𝐓, 𝐌𝐌𝐏𝐀, met with the Maasim Tricycle Drivers Associations to discuss the proposed fare adjustment amid the continuing increase in fuel prices.
‎
‎The dialogue focused on finding a fair and balanced solution that will support the livelihood of our tricycle drivers while ensuring that commuters are still protected. The group also tackled the recent proclamation of the President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. regarding the suspension of price hikes, and how it will affect local transport operations.

‎Through open communication and cooperation, the local government unit continues to work toward practical and people-centered solutions for the community.

𝐙𝐲𝐫𝐞𝐱 𝐂. 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐚𝐨, 𝐋𝐏𝐓, 𝐌𝐌𝐏𝐀.

This initiative reflects the continued commitment to assist families affected by disasters by providing essential shelter support and helping them rebuild their lives with dignity.

‎During today’s 34th Regular Session of the Sangguniang Bayan of Maasim, the council first deliberated on several municipal matters, ongoing programs, and proposed measures aimed at strengthening local governance and improving public services for the community.
‎
‎Hon. 𝐀𝐥𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐙. 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧 also discussed the proposed adjustment of tricycle tariff rates in response to the continuing increase in fuel prices.
‎
‎The discussion highlighted the concerns and recommendations of the Tricycle Drivers Association of Maasim, ensuring that both the welfare of the drivers and the interest of the commuting public are carefully considered.
‎
‎Hon. Labongan reaffirmed his commitment to balanced and responsive policies that support local transport workers while maintaining fair and reasonable fares for the community.
