The Tourism Office of Guindulman visited Lagkaw de Chocolat Farm in Cabaoacan, Mayuga, Guindulman, Bohol, as part of its continuing efforts to discover and promote the municipality’s emerging agri-tourism destinations.

The Tourism Office of Guindulman visited Lagkaw de Chocolat Farm in Cabaoacan, Mayuga, Guindulman, Bohol, as part of its continuing efforts to discover and promote the municipality’s emerging agri-tourism destinations.

Surrounded by lush greenery and cacao trees, the farm showcases the beauty and potential of cacao farming as both an agricultural product and a meaningful tourism experience.

Through visits like this, the Tourism Office continues to support local farmers, community-based enterprises, and sustainable agri-tourism, while highlighting the unique products and experiences that Guindulman has to offer.

A HISTORIC MILESTONE FOR GUINDULMAN MUNICIPAL COLLEGE!

With immense pride and gratitude, Guindulman Municipal College (GMC) proudly announces that the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has officially granted the permit to offer the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA) program.

The permit was formally awarded at the CHED Regional Office VII in Lahug, Cebu City, and was received by our College President, Dr. Julius J. Igot. This marks the realization of a long-held dream of providing accessible, affordable, and quality higher education to the people of Guindulman and neighboring communities.

This milestone was made possible through the visionary leadership of the late Hon. Maria Fe A. Piezas, M.D., whose steadfast commitment to education laid the foundation for the establishment of the College. Her vision was carried forward by former Mayor Hon. Albino M. Balo and continues to flourish under the leadership and support of our incumbent Mayor, Hon. Engr. Jimmy D. Busano, and Vice-Mayor Abigail Marie B. Lagura.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to our Congresswoman Kristine Alexie B. Tutor for her invaluable support, to the members of Sangguniang Bayan, the Board of Trustees, Department Heads, the College Administration, our dedicated faculty and staff, valued stakeholders, partner agencies, and all those who generously contributed their time, expertise, and unwavering support in turning this vision into a reality.

This achievement is more than the granting of a government permit; it marks the beginning of greater opportunities for the youth of Guindulman.

As we celebrate this historic milestone, GMC remains steadfast in its commitment to providing quality education, empowering future professionals, and contributing to the continued growth and development of our community.

Together, we move forward with hope, excellence, and a shared commitment to a brighter future.

The Municipal Tourism Office of Guindulman, headed by our very own Municipal Tourism Officer, Mr. Julan Crisale P. Cordova, conducted a meeting with resort owners, accommodation establishments, and dine-in restaurant operators to strengthen tourism partnerships in the municipality.

Also present were SB Member Committee on Tourism, Hon. Raynil B. Jamisola and SB Member Hon. Lynbell G. Cafe – Committee on Health, showing strong support from the local government in advancing tourism and community development initiatives.

The meeting also marked the formation of TAGDA (Tourist Destinations, Accommodations in Guindulman and Dine-in’s Association), a unified group aimed at fostering collaboration and improving tourism services in Guindulman, Bohol.

Together, we move forward in building a more united, resilient, and competitive tourism sector for Guindulman, Bohol.
