Position: Technical Support Staff
Employment Status: Contract of Service
Salary: SG 12-13 (depends on technical background and work experience)
No. of Vacant Positions: 2

Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS in Fisheries and other allied courses
- With PRC license (Fisheries Technologist) and/or Career Service Eligibility (Professional)
- With an aptitude for fish taxonomy, fisheries extension, entrepreneurship, and strategic planning
- With excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills
- Excellent skills in MS Office applications and other platforms

Job description:
- Assists fishery based MSMEs on product promotion and market development through conduct of training/mentorship program, participation to international and local/ national trade fairs/ exhibits, and industry/ investment fora
- Analyze price trend data of fishery commodities and generate Price Monitoring Reports
- Facilitate credit access of fisherfolk to financing institutions (government and private)
- Engage with local and international organizations (e.g., FAO, INFOFISH) on various trade and marketing programs for fisheries stakeholders
- Assist in fisheries community/ cooperative organizing
