Isa sa mga game-changing nga programa ni Sec Kiko Benitez sang TESDA amo ang EBET (Enterprise-Based Education and Training).

Sa sini nga programa, indi na sa classroom ang training kundi sa kompanya kag sa industriya na mismo ginahurma ang mga trainees!

Buot silingon ara ka sa actual work environment, ga gamit kana actual skills, kag may actual experience kana dayon. Hindi na trial and error pag-abot sa trabaho. Ready na sila day one.

Amo ni ang training to trabaho.

TESDA Secretary KIKO Benitez met with the Liga ng mga Barangay sa Pilipinas National Executive Board, headed by National President Jessica Dy, to discuss stronger collaboration between TESDA and Barangays.

Also present during the meeting were LNB leaders BM Amalia Debuque of Iloilo, BM Ram Ortega of La Union, and BM Richard Sablan of Negros Occidental.

TESDA Accredited Farm School Opens in Hinoba-an!

TESDA awards Certificate of Program Registration for Organic Agriculture Productions NC II to Ziela Mountain Resort. We thank Sir Zaldy Reliquias for putting up the facilities within the standards of TESDA. This is just the start. I hope more qualifications will be offered soon!

Indi na mag palayo ang aton mga pumuluyo. Indi na mangutang plete ang mga ginikanan. Ang programa sang TESDA yara na sa aton ugsaran.

I first discovered the world of skills development because of these two, Ma’am Avelyn and Ma’am Cely of NOLITC.

Way back in 2017, I partnered with them for our program “Trabaho para sa Pamatan-on” in Hinoba-an. At that time, it was simply about creating opportunities. We just worked on giving our youth a fighting chance. No big frameworks. No technical lens. Just a clear intention: may mabaton nga oportunidad ang mga pamatan-on.

But looking back now, that partnership did more than provide jobs. It opened my eyes. It showed me that skills development is not just about training but also about dignity. It is about giving people the power to stand on their own, to earn, to dream bigger than their circumstances.

And until now, that same mission continues to shape my work. Padayon ang Baskog nga pag serbisyo.
