Three months away from Barangay and SK Elections, the Sangguniang Kabataang of Barangay Amorogtong conducted a Voter's Education and Mobilization among youth members last August 23, 2026.

With the discussion about electoral laws, voting rights and duties and responsibilities of SK & Barangay Officials, Atty. Anne Karmela Eucogco, the resource speaker emphasized the importance of youth participation in BSKE and what to expect from barangay leaders.

Meanwhile, youth leader, Emy Villanueva educated the participants on how to choose leaders wisely, having awareness of the pressing issues in the country and to use their platform as a helpful tool in influencing their fellow youth in campaigning for good governance.

The activity aims to not just educate the youth on their voting rights but also to use these rights to mobilize for active citizenship and youth civic engagement.

As the BSKE comes near, the SK Council hopes that the youth will transform these lessons into actions by choosing the right people to lead them in the future.

IN PHOTOS: Youth Recollection 2026

SK - Brgy. Amorogtong initiated a youth recollection and youth mass entitled No Filter/Unmasked: Accepting One's True Self, Flaws and all in God's eyes at the Barangay Amorogtong Chapel.

The speaker highlightsled the true meaning of self worth and accepting who we are as we walk with others and with God.

A youth mass was held after the recollection which was attended by the parents and the youth.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Amorogtong would like to thank Fra. Jaymund Ma. Emague for being the resource speaker during the recollection and Rev. Fr. John Marc P. Sarasa for officiating the youth mass.
