The municipalities of Salcedo and Sta. Lucia joined forces in celebrating the 126th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service Commission through the Lingkod Bayan, Unity SportsFest 2026.

Together with Mayor Joseph Simon Valdez of Sta. Lucia, we proudly led the opening activities, joined by our municipal officials, department heads, employees, and representatives from national government agencies of both municipalities.

The LGU Sta. Lucia delegation proudly wore red sportswear, while the LGU Salcedo delegation came in blue, adding color and energy to the celebration of unity and sportsmanship.

The opening ceremony featured the lighting of the Unity SportsFest torch and the Oath of Sportsmanship by our participating athletes, symbolizing unity, camaraderie, fair play, and sportsmanship among public servants.
