PUBLIC ADVISORY

The Local Government Unit of Santo Domingo will temporarily adopt a compressed workweek schedule for all municipal government offices starting tomorrow, 09 March 2026, until further notice.

In support of energy conservation efforts and to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining the continuous delivery of government services, office hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Thursday.

Offices providing essential and frontline services shall continue to operate under appropriate work arrangements to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of public services.

The public is advised to be guided accordingly.

“Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day”

Sa pagdiriwang ng 33rd National Family Week ngayong 22–26 Setyembre 2025, bigyang-diin natin ang kahalagahan ng sabayang pagkain ng pamilya sa pamamagitan ng Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day! Ito ay alinsunod sa Presidential Proclamation No. 326, s. 2012.

Ang araw na ito ay isang paalala na sa gitna ng abalang mundo, ang oras para sa pamilya ay hindi dapat kalimutan.

Sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang pagmamahalan, pagkakaisa, at pagbubuklod ng bawat pamilyang Pilipino—dahil sa bawat pagsasalo sa hapag, mas pinagtitibay ang ugnayan at pag-aaruga sa isa't isa, at higit na naipadadama ang Puso, Dangal at Galing Para sa Bayan.

This activity aims to reduce stress, increase energy, improve health and enhance coordination which can lead to better focus and higher productivity.

In honor of Women’s Month and in line with the theme, “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas,” the Local Government Unit of Santo Domingo came together to celebrate the invaluable contributions and capabilities of women. Led by Mayor Bryan Dexter V. Tadena and organized by the HRMO and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, and in partnership with the University of Northern Philippines - Open University and College of Law, the event was a resounding success.

Atty. Zsarmaine Lee Prades, Associate Professor III/Research Coordinator of the UNP-College of Law served as the Guest Speaker of the celebration and was introduced by Dr. Wilson R. Tolio, the Assistant Dean of the UNP-Open University.

The celebration served as a meaningful opportunity for the women employees of Santo Domingo to come together, celebrate their achievements, and reaffirm their commitment to advancing gender equality and women’s right.

Through collaborative efforts and continued advocacy, the LGU Santo Domingo aims to create more inclusive and equitable society where all individuals, regardless of gender, can thrive and fulfill their potential.
