The temporary closure of all tourism activities in the Municipality of Gregorio del Pilar, Ilocos Sur is hereby LIFTED, effective immediately.

All tourism activities, including hiking, trekking, and visits to our tourist destinations, may now resume.

We encourage all visitors, guides, and tourism stakeholders to continue observing safety protocols and to remain vigilant regarding weather and trail conditions.

EXTENSION OF THE SUSPENSION OF TOURISM ACTIVITIES

Based on the assessment of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC), the suspension of all tourism activities in Gregorio del Pilar, Ilocos Sur is extended until August 7, 2026, and will remain in effect until further notice.

This precautionary measure is being implemented to ensure the safety of all visitors, local residents, tour guides, and tourism personnel due to prevailing weather conditions and potential hazards.
