When a concern was raised, we listened—and we acted.

The IFCO Declogging Unit was deployed to Barangay Calumpang to clear the affected drainage area and help restore the flow of water. Our team worked on the ground to address the immediate concern and help ease the flooding situation.

But keeping our drainage systems clear does not end with our work.

IFCO can help fix the problem today, but keeping that solution going is something we can all work on together.

Proper waste disposal, keeping drainage pathways free from obstructions, and looking out for one another can help prevent the same problems from returning.

Because a safer, cleaner, and more flood-ready community is not the responsibility of one team alone.

It is a group effort.

We listen.
We act.
And together, we help make the solution last.

𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗪𝗘𝗥

Residents raised concerns regarding the worsening drainage situation in Zone 5–6, Calumpang, Molo, Iloilo City.

We listened. We acted.

Following the assessment of the area, the team under Sir Joel carried out declogging operations in the affected area, clearing accumulated debris and silt to help restore proper drainage flow and improve the condition of the system.

The completed intervention addressed the immediate drainage concern and helped improve the system's ability to function more effectively. From a community concern to a completed field operation, this response reflects the importance of acting promptly when public infrastructure requires attention.

⚠️ 𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝟭𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗨𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗚, 𝗠𝗢𝗟𝗢

Following several reports and concerns raised by residents, the team conducted an immediate site inspection in 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝟱–𝟲, 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴, 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗼 on 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, together with 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗲ñ𝗼𝗿𝗼𝗻 and the 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺.

To address the concerns raised by the community, the team under the supervision of 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝗲𝗹 carried out 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 on 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, as part of the ongoing effort to improve drainage conditions in the area.

Team EJ Lights the Way: Troubleshooting Today, Brighter Streets Tomorrow!

From loose connections to tripped breakers and busted streetlights, Team EJ was on the ground and ready to get the job done!

In Tagbak, the team restored a loose connection to normal operation. Over at Simon Ledesma, they reinstalled and tested a 120W LED luminaire, making sure it was back in top working condition. Meanwhile, in Benedicto, Jaro, a tripped breaker was successfully troubleshot and power was restored.

But the work didn’t stop there! Team EJ also conducted a comprehensive survey of busted streetlights in Taytay Zone 11, identifying areas in need of repair and restoration.

One connection fixed. One light restored. One brighter road at a time.

𝟴-𝟱-𝟮𝟲 | 𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗣𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗠𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘

Motorpool conducted the inspection and servicing of three (3) generator sets at the Don Esteban, Lapuz Pumping Station.

The activity forms part of the continuous maintenance program to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and operational readiness of essential equipment.

Carpentry Team 1 completed the repair of the bay stair steps at Esplanade 6, beside MIWD.

The activity is part of the continuing maintenance of public facilities to ensure the safety, accessibility, and functionality of public spaces in Iloilo City.

Lights On, Iloilo: Teams in Action for Brighter, Safer Streets

When the lights go out, the work begins. When more light is needed, the teams step up.

Keeping Iloilo’s streets bright takes more than a switch—it takes installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and timely action.

At Diversion Road in Mandurriao, Team Samuel successfully installed seven sets of 120-watt double-arm LED lights along the center island, bringing added illumination to a major roadway.

The team also responded to a busted 120-watt LED light in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Arevalo, conducting the necessary survey and troubleshooting. Both tasks were fully completed.

Meanwhile, Team Sander tackled another streetlight concern along the center island of Diversion Road in Barangay Sambag, Jaro, where the team traced, troubleshot, and repaired a grounded streetlight line.

The team then continued its inspection at Plaza Molo, in front of GT Mall, surveying busted 120-watt LED lights to identify lighting concerns requiring further action.

New lights installed. Faults repaired. Busted lights identified.

With Team Samuel and Team Sander on the ground, every installation, repair, and inspection helps move Iloilo toward brighter roads, better visibility, and safer public spaces.

Powering Progress, One Market at a Time

What keeps Iloilo’s public markets running efficiently behind the scenes? Consistent electrical work, timely maintenance, and immediate action where it matters most.

At the New Iloilo Terminal Market, two sub-kWh meters were successfully installed to support improved monitoring and management of electrical consumption.

Meanwhile, at the Jaro Big Market, the team pulled out feeder and extension lines with convenience outlets previously used by bolanteros and transient vendors, helping address electrical concerns and improve the overall safety and organization of the area.

At the New Iloilo Central Market, the exhaust fan was also successfully activated, supporting better ventilation within the facility.

From electrical installations to safety improvements and better ventilation, every task plays a part in creating safer, more efficient, and better-managed public markets.

Taking Action Where It Matters Most

Safety doesn’t wait—and neither did the response.

A routine survey along Aldeguer Street, City Proper uncovered a serious public safety concern: a severely deteriorated heritage concrete lamp post that had begun to lean, creating an immediate risk to pedestrians and motorists.

Recognizing the danger, Team EJ acted swiftly. The unstable structure was immediately demolished, eliminating the potential risk of collapse and helping keep the area safe for the public.

But the work didn’t stop there.

The team proceeded to Tabuc Suba Bridge and the area in front of Jollibee Tabuc Suba, Jaro, conducting a comprehensive survey of busted streetlights and identifying areas requiring attention and corrective action.

One hazard addressed. More concerns identified. One goal remains: safer, brighter streets for everyone.
