𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 𝗜𝗜 𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝐔 Leon 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭
Successfully conducted the ROTC Orientation and 1st Regular Instruction for the 1st Semester of the A.Y. 2026-2027 dated 22, August 2026 at ISAT U Leon Covered Gym in F. Cabarles Street, Leon, Iloilo.

The ROTC Orientation commenced at 8 o’clock with the Prayer,Invocation and the Mass Singing of the Philippine National Anthem and ISAT U Hymn.

Cpl Luimar J Cabinalan (AGS) PA, Admin NCO, successfully conducted an orientation for the newly enrolled Cadets and Cadettes, featuring a comprehensive discussion of the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Program.

Followed by a video presentation showcasing a glimpse into the experiences, training, discipline, leadership, and responsibilities of an ROTC Cadet and Cadet Officer.

The program continued with the formal Introduction of the Cor Commander and Staff, led by CDT LTC JHON RYAN P. CABANTING, 1CL, followed by the Introduction of the Commandant and Training Staff by LTC PACIFICO B. AGUILAR JR. PA (RES).

The activity concluded with an inspiring Message from the Commandant to the newly enrolled Cadets and Cadettes, emphasizing the values of discipline, leadership, patriotism, camaraderie, and commitment to service.

This activity marks the beginning of their journey toward becoming disciplined, responsible, and service-oriented individuals committed to the ideals of the ROTC Program.

The Orientation was ended by 11:30 in the morning.

The ISAT U Leon Campus ROTC Unit proudly stood alongside school security personnel during the Orientation and Campus Tour on 30 July 2026, ensuring that every student’s first step inside the campus was safe and secure.

From gate entry to campus grounds, ROTC cadet officers actively conducted bag inspections. Demonstrating vigilance, responsibility, and commitment to public service.

This initiative reflects the university's commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all new learners.

More than duty, this is dedication. More than presence, this is purpose - to serve, to protect, and to lead.

Successfully join the Agri-Run of the 79th founding Anniversary in ISAT U Leon Campus dated 19,July 2026 at ISAT U Leon, Iloilo.

The events started early 4:30 AM along with registration and started the Run by 5:30 in the morning.

ISAT U Leon Campus marked its 79th Founding Anniversary with the successful staging of Agri Run 2026. Bringing together Students, Cadet officers, Alumni, Staff, and Neighbors, the run perfectly blended agricultural heritage with health and community unity. Every step and run taken by the participants reflected the resilience and dedication that define ISAT U Leon Campus proving that while our legacy is deep, our future runs even stronger.

The Cadet officers who participated shows guidance, leadership and service that shows their capability and preparedness on duty.

The Agri-Run ended by 8 o'clock in the morning.

Courtesy Call || ISAT U Leon Campus ROTC Unit

On Thursday, June 25, 2026, the Commandant, Corps Commander of the Iloilo Science and Technology University Leon-Miagao Campus ROTC Unit and Corps S7 as well paid a courtesy call to Dr. Eric James P. Talagon, Officer-in-Charge, Campus Administrator, prior to the conduct of the NSTP Orientation for the First Semester, AY 2026–2027.

The courtesy call served as a formal expression of respect and an opportunity to discuss the objectives of the NSTP Orientation while strengthening the partnership between the university administration and the ROTC Unit. Dr. Talagon expressed his support for the program and encouraged the continued promotion of leadership, discipline, patriotism, and service among ISAT U students.

This meaningful engagement reflects the ROTC Unit's commitment to working hand in hand with the university in developing responsible and service-oriented future leaders.

The ISAT U Leon Campus ROTC Unit successfully conducted the National Service Training Program (NSTP) Orientation for the First Semester, Academic Year 2026–2027 on June 25, 2026, at the ISAT U Leon Covered Gym, F. Cabarles Street, Leon, Iloilo.

The orientation officially began with the registration, followed by the opening program, prayer, and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, Leon Hymn, and ISAT U Hymn.

The opening program was marked by a welcome address delivered by Dr. Eric James P. Talagon, Officer-in-Charge, Campus Administrator. This was followed by the formal introduction of Mr. Ryan C. Alimo-on as the newly appointed NSTP Coordinator by CDT LTC JHON RYAN P CABANTING, 1CL, ROTC Officer.

Students were introduced to the National Service Training Program (NSTP) and its three components: Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC), Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS), and Literacy Training Service (LTS). They were given valuable insights into the opportunities, responsibilities, and experiences that each component offers.

Mr. Quirino C. Aligaen Jr. discussed the objectives and community engagement activities under CWTS, while LTC PACIFICO B AGUILAR JR., PA (RES), ISAT U LEON-MC ROTC Commandant, inspired the students through an informative presentation highlighting the values of discipline, leadership, patriotism, and service in the ROTC program.

Adding inspiration to the program, CDT MAJ JENELA RYZA T ENOJA, 1CL shared her personal journey as an ROTC Officer, encouraging students to embrace the challenges of leadership, develop resilience, and serve the nation with honor.

The orientation concluded successfully at 11:30 AM, equipping the freshmen with a better understanding of NSTP and empowering them to choose the path that best aligns with their interests and commitment to nation-building.

Successfully conducted its 5th and 1st special Instructions for the 2nd Semester in ISAT U Leon Campus dated 21, February 2026 at ISAT U Leon Covered Gym in F. Cabarles Street, Leon, Iloilo.

The Instruction commenced at 8 o’clock with an Invocation and the Singing of the Philippine National Anthem.

Subsequently, CDT COL RENZ ROBERT SASABO 1CL conducted a lecture about General information that includes orders covering key aspects of guarding,such as protecting the post,controlling access, reporting incidents,and maintaining vigilance. After that Sgt Vic N Nufuar PA(Res) lectured about Followership 2 that includes command and control, tactical operations, and leadership development,aiming to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed for effective military leadership.

The morning Instructions ended by 12 o'clock in the noon

In the Continuation of the Instructions 1 o'clock in the afternoon, SSg John Marc G Famindalan PA (Res) lectured about Army Role in the Disaster Management that includes contributing to rescue operations, relief effort, and restoring order.

The Remaining ROTC period was allotted to Manual of arms,Decentralized drills and Ceremonial parade it was supervised by our Tactical NCOs/Instructor's and Cadet Officers.

The ROTC Instructions ended at about 5 o'clock in the afternoon.
