The Municipality of Aguinaldo joins the nation in commemorating National Heroes Day this August 31, 2026, a day to honor the courage, sacrifices, and contributions of the Filipino heroes who helped shape our nation.

May this occasion remind us that heroism is not only found in history, but also in the everyday acts of service, compassion, integrity, and love for country.

Please be advised that regular government work is suspended on this day.

Let us honor our heroes by continuing to serve our communities and our country with the same spirit of courage and patriotism.

AGUINALDO, Ifugao, — The DTI Ifugao Provincial Office, through Negosyo Center Aguinaldo, conducted a Basic Tax Compliance Orientation cm SB Corporation Finance Fair on August 25, 2026 at the Municipal Training Hall.

The one-day activity provided 30 local MSMEs with practical guidance on BIR registration, invoicing, bookkeeping, tax privileges, and penalty avoidance. Participants also received one-on-one loan pre-screening, document evaluation, and application assistance for SB Corp financing.

Consultations on tax concerns, Business Name Registration, and BMBE registration were likewise provided.

The activity was conducted in partnership with BIR RDO-12 Ifugao, SB Corp, and the LGU of Aguinaldo, supporting local entrepreneurs in becoming more compliant, competitive, and financially capable.

The Small Business Corporation (SB Corp.), the financing arm of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), has provided P90 million worth of loans to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Kalinga to help them grow.

According to SB Corp, from 2023 to June 2026, 212 MSMEs have benefited from its lending programs designed to be accessible to small enterprises.
