PAG-UGYON 2026 | Strengthening Interagency Readiness for Mission Success
The Bureau of Fire Protection Iloilo, led by FSUPT MELANIE G HABAWEL, DSC, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, participated in the Coordinating Conference for the Exercise Plan of Interagency Territorial Defense Operations "PAG-UGYON" on June 2, 2026, alongside partner agencies and stakeholders. The activity aimed to enhance operational preparedness and strengthen collaboration among agencies through the principles of Unity of Effort, Coordination, Communication, Readiness, and Mission Success.
A key highlight of the conference was the TOEX COMEX (Communications Exercise), which focused on assessing and improving communication interoperability, information sharing, and coordination mechanisms essential to effective multi-agency operations. Discussions covered communication assets, Incident Operations Center (IOC) preparations, support requirements, and response protocols to ensure seamless coordination during emergencies and other contingencies.
Through its active participation, BFP Iloilo continues to reinforce its commitment to operational excellence, interagency cooperation, and collective preparedness in building a safer, more resilient, and secure Iloilo Province.
