BIYAYANIHAN: SPAY & NEUTER ACTIVITY

A celebration of compassion, responsible pet ownership, and bayanihan for our beloved animals.

The Biyayanihan Spay and Neuter Activity was made possible through the meaningful collaboration of the Iloilo Provincial Veterinarian, Biyaya Animal Care Foundation, and the Local Government Unit of Banate.

This initiative is more than just providing free veterinary services. It is a step toward controlling the population of stray animals, promoting responsible pet ownership, and giving our furry companions the chance to live healthier and happier lives.

Our heartfelt THANK YOU to all our veterinarians and doctors, volunteers, facilitators, support staff, and our dedicated fur parents who patiently brought their beloved pets and entrusted them to our care.

To everyone who shared their time, skills, resources, and compassion—thank you for being part of this Biyayanihan. Your kindness reminds us that when we work together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and in our community.

The Municipality of Banate warmly welcomed the Food Consumers for Filipino Producers (FCFP) during their courtesy call and visit to the Banate AMIA Village.

The visit provided an opportunity for FCFP to meet and interview our partner farmers, highlighting their experiences, contributions, and stories behind Banate’s thriving rice industry.

As one of the top-producing municipalities in rice in Iloilo, Banate takes pride in its hardworking farmers who continue to contribute significantly to food security and agricultural development.

TULONG DUNONG PROGRAM (TDP) UPDATE

NO MORE SLOTS AVAILABLE — APPLICATION IS NOW CLOSED.

The Municipality of Banate would like to inform everyone that the 80 available slots for the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) for Academic Year 2026–2027 have already been filled.

As of today, 180 students have submitted their requirements for initial screening and validation.

Thank you to all Banatenhon students who submitted their requirements and showed interest in the program.

Please be advised that no further submissions will be accepted at this time, as the allocated slots have already been reached.

TDP APPLICATION IS NOW OFFICIALLY CLOSED.
