The Sangguniang Bayan of Estancia, led by Vice Mayor Mark J. Cordero, successfully conducted its Regular Session today, July 20, 2026, where committee reports, proposed ordinances, resolutions, and other legislative measures were deliberated to further promote the welfare and development of every Estanciahanon.
A major highlight of the session was the presentation of the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) project by contractor Engr. Amoroso, together with OIC-MENRO Mr. Leon Rogador and MPDO Engr. Gilmher Ga-as, who provided updates on its current status.
The Vice Mayor emphasized the need to fast-track the completion of the MRF, a project that was initiated during his previous term. Despite the passage of time, the facility remains unfinished. He stressed that this vital project should no longer be delayed and directed all concerned offices to work together, address pending concerns immediately, and prioritize its completion so the people of Estancia can finally benefit from this long-overdue facility.
The Sangguniang Bayan also welcomed Mr. Melbert Arc , President of the Balangaw Warriors, who shared updates on the association's upcoming activities. Likewise, Federated Barangay Health Workers (BHW) President Rovelyn Olimba Retirado , together with Ms. Khaz Zy, presented the federation's best practices, ongoing programs, and preparations for the BHW Congress 2026.
The Sangguniang Bayan remains committed to responsive, transparent, and people-centered legislation, ensuring that priority projects are delivered and public service remains focused on the needs of every Estanciahanon.
