Negosyo Center Zarraga conducted an enterprise visit to Parreño Furniture Shop on March 19, 2026.

The visit aimed to assess the business needs of MSME owner Mrs. Marilyn Parreño and provide appropriate assistance. As part of the support, the Business Counselor also helped in creating the shop’s page to boost its online presence and reach more customers.

Negosyo Center Zarraga News Update

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Iloilo Provincial Office, through Negosyo Center Zarraga, successfully facilitated the issuance of a Barangay Micro Business Enterprise (BMBE) Certificate to Miguel Grill House, owned by Ms. Ruth Labanero, located at Ilawod Poblacion, Zarraga, Iloilo, today, February 24, 2026.

The BMBE Certification is granted to eligible micro enterprises to support their growth and sustainability. With this certification, Miguel Grill House may enjoy the following advantages:

1. Income Tax Exemption on income arising from business operations
2. Exemption from the Minimum Wage Law(as provided under the BMBE Act, subject to compliance with labor standards)
3. Priority access to government financing programs** through government financial institutions
4. Access to training, advisory services, and technology transfer programs from government agencies
5. Assistance in business development and market linkages**

These incentives are designed to help micro enterprises reduce operational costs, improve profitability, and expand their business operations.
