It is also the student arm of the Community Extension Department (CED) of the Colegio.

We are the Letran Community Volunteers, a recognized student organization in Colegio de San Juan de Letran, devoted to mobilizing volunteers towards ecological and socio-political growth. The Letran Community Volunteers (formerly Letran Outreach Outdoor Society) is an organization founded on Christ’s teachings of LOVE OF GOD and LOVE OF NEIGHBOR – love that form volunteers and builds people. tudents volunteer because they want to make a difference not only in their lives but also in the lives of the people they will serve.

Today marks the 43rd death anniversary of the Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., whose courage and sacrifice became a defining moment in the nation’s history.

More than four decades later, his words continue to remind us that integrity is not merely spoken—it is lived through the choices we make, the principles we uphold, and the courage to follow our conscience.

May the spirit of good leadership guide us — the kind that listens, understands, and acts for the common good. Let’s hope that this will serve as an invitation for us to continue the pursuit of genuine service to the nation.

𝐄𝐲𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞, 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬!

The Letran Community Volunteers held its 1𝘴𝘵 𝘙𝘦𝘨𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘔𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 yesterday, August 14, 2026. The meeting outlined the organization’s plans and projects and brought volunteers together to share a collective vision for a fruitful academic year ahead.

This meeting marks the commencement of another year of stronger commitment to serve with purpose and to be in the service of the community.

May we embark on another academic year to lead, serve, and volunteer with purpose.
