Ang Isabela City Solid Waste Management ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sa Barangay Sta. Barbara sa pangunguna ni Kapitan Hon. Jimmy Fernandez at Kagawad Fiazal Hayre (committee on Clean and Green) sa agarang aksyon para tugunan ang ilegal na pagtatapon ng basura sa Purok 7.

Iwasan natin ang open dumping o pagtatapon ng basura sa kung saan-saan. Ito ay nagdudulot ng kalat, pagdumi ng ating lugar, at maaari pang magdulot ng problema sa kalusugan!

Ayon sa Republic Act 9003 (Ecological Solid Waste Management Act) at City Ordinance 04-171-11326, ang sinumang maabutan o mahuli na nagtatapon ng basura sa ilegal na paraan ay mapapatawan ng kaukulang multa.

𝙄𝙨𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙖 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙒𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Isabela City, through its Solid Waste Management (SWM) Division under the supervision of City General Services Office (CGSO) Head Mr. Eugene B. Strong, will implement segregated waste collection at the Isabela City Market.

The team led by SWM Division Chief Saddam Lagoyo conducted a series of information dissemination activities for market goers and vendors. Segregated Transbins have been installed in market areas specifically for vegetable and fruit vendors to dispose of their biodegradable waste. A dedicated vehicle has also been assigned for the collection of biodegradable waste only, with clear guidelines on collection times and waste types.

The LGU Isabela City is strongly supporting environmental conservation and preservation efforts by implementing Republic Act 9003 and City Ordinance 04-171-11326, aimed at addressing the current issues of land and sea pollution.
