“Serbisyo Caravan matagumpay na naihatid sa mga dating Rebelde”

Echague, Isabela — Matagumpay na nagsagawa ang 502nd Infantry (LIBERATOR) Brigade, sa pamumuno ni BGEN RHODERICK L PARALLAG PA katuwang ang Task Force Balik-Loob (TFBL) at iba’t ibang ahensya ng pamahalaan, ng isang one-stop Serbisyo Caravan noong Abril 10, 2026 sa Sitio Kasisiitan, Brgy. Minanga. Layunin ng aktibidad na maghatid ng mahahalagang serbisyong panlipunan, medikal, at pangkabuhayan sa 166 dating rebelde na tinutukoy bilang Former rebels (FRs) at 56 nilang kapamilya, bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagsisikap ng pamahalaan sa pagsusulong ng kapayapaan, pagbangon, at reintegrasyon. Pinangunahan ang aktibidad ni Undersecretary for Defense Affairs at TFBL Chairperson, MGEN ANGELITO M. DE LEON (RET) AFP.

Nagkaloob ang mga ahensya ng komprehensibong tulong kabilang ang suportang pang-agrikultura na 2,000 punla ng puno mula sa DENR Region II at 350 pakete ng binhi handog ng Department of Agriculture, serbisyong pangkalusugan (medikal, dental, laboratoryo, at tuli) isinagawa ng mga Doktor galing 5ID Station Hospital at Rural Heath Unit – San Mariano, Isabela, at tulong pinansyal kaloob ng DSWD kung saan 60 benepisyaryo ang tumanggap ng tig-Php 5,000. Naitawid din ang mahahalagang serbisyo ng pamahalaan gaya ng pag-isyu ng 231 PhilHealth ID, 45 National ID galing sa PSA, at pagproseso ng mga dokumentong sibil. Bukod dito, nakatanggap din ang mga benepisyaryo ng gamot, food packs, damit, tsinelas mula sa NICA 2 at iba pang pangunahing pangangailangan mula sa mga katuwang na ahensya at lokal na pamahalaan ng San Mariano.

Sa kanyang mensahe, pinuri ni Usec. De Leon ang mga FRs sa kanilang pagpili sa landas ng kapayapaan at binigyang-diin ang kanilang mahalagang papel sa pagbuo ng bansa at komunidad sa pagtataguyod ng pangmatagalang kapayapaan at matagumpay na reintegrasyon ng mga Former Rebel (FR) tungo sa isang ligtas at maunlad na lipunan.
“Ang kapayapaan ay hindi lamang nakakamit sa pagtatapos ng labanan, kundi sa pagpapanumbalik ng buhay, muling pagbubuo ng tiwala, at pagtitiyak na ang bawat isa ay may kinabukasang karapat-dapat ipagtanggol.”

Sa pagtatapos, patuloy ang panawagan ng kasundaluhan sa mga natitira pang mga armado na bukas ng pintuan ng 502IBde upang sila ay tulungan at makapagbagong buhay katuwang ang kanilang pamilya.

𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣 𝗠𝗘𝗟𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗥 𝗙 𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗔 𝗖𝗥𝗨𝗭, 𝗨𝗽𝗶, 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝘂, 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗮 — MGen Gulliver L. Señires, Commander of the 5th Infantry Division, led the 84th Araw ng Kagitingan commemoration on April 9, 2026, at Heritage Memorial Park in Brgy. Roxas, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.
As guest of honor and speaker, MGen Señires led the tribute to the sacrifices of Filipino soldiers during World War II, particularly those who endured the fall of Bataan and the Bataan Death March. He emphasized that the occasion serves not only as a remembrance of history but also as a continuing call for every Filipino to uphold the values of courage, unity, and service.
In his message, MGen Señires paid tribute to the country’s veterans, stating, “To our dear veterans—the living witnesses of valor—you are the embodiment of courage. Your sacrifices paved the way for the freedom we enjoy today. Because of you, the flame of patriotism continues to burn brightly in the hearts of every Filipino.”
The event, anchored on the theme “Giting ng Bayani, Pamana sa Salinlahi,” brought together military personnel, local officials, partner agencies, and veterans in a solemn and meaningful gathering of remembrance and gratitude.
Also in attendance were BGen Rhoderick L. Parallag, Commander of the 502nd Infantry Brigade; Lt. Col. Rod A. Babaran Jr., Commanding Officer of the 86th Infantry Battalion; and Lt. Col. Paulo A. Espinosa, Director of the 203rd Community Defense Center, along with representatives from various government and civic organizations.
Observed as part of the Philippine Veterans Week, Araw ng Kagitingan continues to honor the enduring contributions of Filipino veterans in securing the country’s freedom.

Buong dangal na nakibahagi ang mga kasundaluhan ng 86th Infantry “Highlander” Battalion sa paggunita ng ika-84 na Araw ng Kagitingan na ginanap sa Heritage Memorial Park, Brgy. Roxas, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya ngayong ika-9 ng Abril 2026, na may temang “Giting ng Bayani, Pamana sa Salinlahi.”

Ang aktibidad ay pinangunahan ni MGen Gulliver L. Señires, Commander, 5th Infantry Division, Philippine Army bilang panauhing pandangal at tagapagsalita. Nakiisa rin si BGen Rhoderick L. Parallag, Commander, 502nd Infantry Brigade, kasama si Ltc Rod A. Babaran Jr., Commanding Officer ng 86IB, at Ltc Paulo A. Espinosa, Director ng 203rd Community Defense Center. Ang nasabing aktibidad ay dinaluhan din ng mga kinatawan mula sa Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Nueva Vizcaya, Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Solano, Kagawaran ng Turismo, Nueva Vizcaya State University, Girl Scout of the Philippines Nueva Vizcaya Chapter, Sons and Daughter Association Inc., laang-kawal ng 203rd RRIBn, iba’t-ibang ahensya ng pamahalaan, at mga beterano sa pangunguna ng Philippine Veterans Affairs Office.

Sa kanyang mensahe, binigyang-diin ni MGen Siñeres na ang Araw ng Kagitingan ay hindi lamang pag-alala sa nakaraan kundi isang paalala at hamon sa kasalukuyan at sa hinaharap—na ang diwa ng kabayanihan ay dapat patuloy na isabuhay at ipamana sa susunod na henerasyon.

Ang Araw ng Kagitingan, na kilala rin bilang “Day of Valor o Bataan Day”, ay ginugunita bilang pag-alala sa kabayanihan ng mga sundalong pilipino noong Ikalawang Digmaang Pandaigdig, partikular ang pagbagsak ng Bataan noong ika-9 ng Abril taong 1942 at ang makasaysayang ‘Death March’ na kumitil sa libo-libong buhay ng mga sundalong pilipino.

Sa kasalukuyan, ito ay ginugunita bilang bahagi ng Philippine Veterans Week, kung saan patuloy na kinikilala ang mahalagang papel at sakripisyo ng mga beterano sa pagkamit ng kalayaan ng bansa.

Ang 86IB ay nananatiling matatag sa tungkulin nito na ipagtanggol ang mga komunidad sa area na nasasakupan at panatilihing buhay ang diwa ng kagitingan—hindi lamang sa alaala ng nakaraan, kundi sa bawat kilos at sakripisyo para sa kapayapaan at kinabukasan ng sambayanang pilipino.

ECHAGUE, Isabela –The 502nd Infantry (LIBERATOR) Brigade conducted an Information and Education Campaign (IEC) as part of a two-day Youth Summer Camp organized by the Christ the Righteous Judge Church in Barangay Santa Victoria, City of Ilagan, on April 3, 2026.

The initiative aimed to empower the youth with knowledge and awareness on critical societal issues, particularly focusing on the “Five Stages of Deceptive Recruitment” employed by the CPP-NPA-NDF. The session highlighted how these groups target and influence young individuals through various recruitment strategies, emphasizing the importance of vigilance, critical thinking, and informed decision-making.

A key highlight of the activity was the testimony of Pvt Ma Christine Macaspac (Inf) PA, a former rebel sharing her personal experiences and insights. Her engaging discussion, combined with an interactive question-and-answer segment, allowed participants to better understand the realities behind deceptive recruitment tactics. The participants expressed appreciation for the informative and eye-opening session.

Further strengthening the engagement, MAJ JAY LORE R MANALIGOD (FS) PA, Brigade’s Civil-Military Officer, provided an overview of the Army recruitment process. He encouraged the youth to consider a career in public service, emphasizing values such as patriotism, discipline, and leadership. The 86th Infantry “Highlander” Battalion reaffirmed its commitment to honor the nation’s heroes through its active participation in the annual Veterans Week Celebration through a Sunrise and Wreath-Laying Ceremony, and Review in Honor of Veterans on 05 April 2026 held at the Heritage Memorial Park, Brgy. Roxas, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.

The Philippine Veterans Week celebration brought together war veterans, their families, local government officials, uniformed personnel, and stakeholders in a solemn tribute to the enduring heroism and sacrifices of our nation’s heroes. Hon. Timothy Joseph E. Cayton, Representative of the Lone District of Nueva Vizcaya, graced the event as the Guest of Honor and Speaker, urging the community to remember the veterans’ sacrifices and follow their example of service.

As a primary participating unit, the 86IB, led by Ltc Rod A. Babaran Jr., Commanding Officer, rendered military honors, including the conduct of wreath-laying rites, symbolizing the Armed Forces’ deep respect and gratitude to the country’s veterans. The unit’s presence reflected not only its discipline and professionalism but also its firm commitment to preserving the legacy of patriotism and service.

The Veterans’ Week celebration remains a significant annual event where the 86IB consistently affirms its support in recognizing the invaluable contributions of our nation’s heroes. More than a ceremonial gathering, the activity highlighted a shared responsibility among Filipinos to carry forward the legacy of courage, unity, and love of country exemplified by
the veterans.

The 17th Infantry “Do or Die” Battalion, in partnership with TESDA Cagayan and a local training institute, conducted a joint closing ceremony for skills training programs at Headquarters 17IB, marking the graduation of 100 personnel and CAFGU Active Auxiliary (CAA) members.

The graduates completed courses in Agro-Entrepreneurship NC II, Bread and Pastry Production NC II, Bread Making, and Carpentry NC II. These programs aim to equip participants with practical, marketable skills that support income generation, strengthen self-reliance, and prepare them for opportunities beyond military service.

The initiative underscores a shared commitment to advancing technical education and sustainable livelihood opportunities. 502Bde Receives State-of-the-Art LED Wall from AFPSLAI

Echague, Isabela — The Armed Forces and Police Savings and Loan Association, Inc. (AFPSLAI), led by President and CEO Rear Admiral Nichols A. Driz PN (Ret), formally turned over one (1) LED wall unit to the 502nd Infantry (Liberator) Brigade during a ceremony held at Headquarters 502Bde on March 30, 2026.

The newly installed LED wall is a high-impact visual communication tool designed to enhance the brigade’s capability for information dissemination, command briefings, and operational coordination. The upgrade supports both administrative and mission-critical functions, reinforcing the unit’s ability to communicate clearly and efficiently.

In his message, RADM Driz emphasized AFPSLAI’s commitment beyond financial services, highlighting its role in supporting partner units through meaningful initiatives. He underscored that such efforts reflect the organization’s broader vision of contributing to nation-building and institutional development.

Col Allan Tabudlo GSC (INF) PA represented Brigadier General Rhoderick L. Parallag PA, Commander of 502Bde, who relayed the unit’s gratitude for the donation, noting its value in strengthening the brigade’s service excellence.
