✨WE RISE, WE DANCE, WE FIGHT!

Land rights defender, cultural worker, and proud daughter of Itogon Rima Aramon-Balacdao Mangili joins small-scale miners in welcoming a new year!

In a teambuilding activity and solidarity gathering organized by the Benguet Federation of Small-scale Miners, Inc. (BFSSMI) today, January 11, 2025, Rima expressed her commitment to continue standing up for the rights and welfare of small-scale miners in Itogon.

Since her childhood days, Rima has been a part of her community's defense of their right to ancestral land and livelihood. Taking years of experience forged in struggle with and for the people, Rima is definitely a leader Itogon needs.
