Upon receiving the report, the MDRRMO response team promptly proceeded to the scene to provide immediate assistance, conduct an initial assessment, and coordinate with the appropriate agencies to ensure the safety of the victim and the public.

We remind all motorists and road users to exercise extra caution while traveling, especially during the late afternoon and evening when road conditions and visibility may change. Wearing proper safety gear, observing speed limits, and staying alert can help prevent road accidents.

As part of the Barangayan Caravan spearheaded by our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Julie Uy Cereno, MD, in one of the farthest barangays of Jiabong, the ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐œ๐ข๐ฉ๐š๐ฅ ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฌ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐‘๐ข๐ฌ๐ค ๐‘๐ž๐๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐š๐ ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž (๐Œ๐ƒ๐‘๐‘๐Œ๐Ž) ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‰๐ข๐š๐›๐จ๐ง๐  successfully conducted Project RESILE: Barangayang Kahandaan in observance of National Disaster Resilience Month 2026.

Residents actively participated in a Disaster Resilience Capability-Building Lecture and Demonstration, equipping them with essential knowledge and practical skills to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies and disasters. Through this initiative, we continue to strengthen community awareness, promote a culture of preparedness, and enhance the barangay's capacity to protect lives and livelihoods.

Building resilient communities begins with informed and empowered citizens. Together, we move closer to a safer, stronger, and more disaster-resilient Jiabong.
