TINGNAN | Anumang wika o diyalekto, handang tumugon ang Unified 911. 🗣️☎️🚨

Bukod sa Filipino at Ingles, may kakayahan ang Unified 911 na tumanggap ng mga emergency call sa iba’t ibang wika at diyalekto, tulad ng:

✅Region 1 at 2: Ilocano, Ibanag, at Yogad/Gaddang
✅Region 6: Hiligaynon (Ilonggo), Aklanon, Capiznon, at Kinaray-a
✅Region 7 at 8: Cebuano, at Waray

Layunin ng Unified 911 ang agarang aksyon mula sa pag-ulat ng insidente hanggang sa pagresponde. Anuman ang wika o diyalekto, makatitiyak ang publiko na may darating na tulong mula sa ating mga pulis, bumbero, rescue teams, at mga LGU, dahil ang bawat segundo ay mahalaga.

LOOK | Strengthening barangays through continuous learning and collaboration!

Barangays of Kananga once again actively participated in the virtual “2026 Pagrig-on Han mga Harigi (Year 3): Strengthening Barangay-Based Institutions, Episode 3: CFAG” on May 25, 2026.

DILG Kananga remains grateful for the continued support of the DILG Regional Office and looks forward to more learning opportunities that further strengthen local capacity-building initiatives of the barangays.

LOOK | Back-to-Back Discussions on Smooth Barangay & SK Transition and Foreign Travel Guidelines!

DILG Kananga presented DILG MC 2026-021 on the Inventory and Turnover of Barangay and SK Properties, Financial Records, Documents, and Money Accountabilities (BSK PFRDs) in preparation for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections this November 2026 during the Liga ng mga Barangay Meeting held on May 26, 2026 at the ABC Hall, New Municipal Building, Kananga, Leyte.

The discussion focused on ensuring a smooth transition of Barangay and SK governance and the proper turnover of records, properties, and accountabilities from outgoing to incoming officials.

Highlighted also during the meeting was a brief orientation on the Foreign Travel Authority (FTA), including important clarifications on foreign travels amid the continuing implementation of the State of Calamity and State of Emergency, where all local elective and appointive officials are required to secure FTA from the DILG even for personal travels.

LOOK | Strengthening coordination, enhancing governance, and sustaining peace and public safety!

DILG Kananga actively participated in the 2nd Quarter Joint Meeting of the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC), Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC), Municipal Task Force-ELCAC (MTF-ELCAC), Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC), and Local Health Board (LHB) held on May 21, 2026 at the Multi-purpose Hall, New Municipal Building, Kananga, Leyte.

Highlighted during the joint meeting were the presentation of the peace and order situation in general, current internal peace and security situation of the municipality and the requirements for the declaration of the Stable Internal Peace and Security Condition (SIPSC), emphasizing the collective commitment of the local government and partner agencies towards sustaining peace, order, and development in the community.

The meeting also served as a platform for collaborative discussion, policy direction, and strengthening inter-agency efforts towards a safer, healthier, disaster-resilient, and more peaceful Kananga.
