Colegio de Kapatagan recognizes the participation of 𝑺𝒊𝒓 𝑨𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒍 𝑫𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝑳𝒖𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒂𝒅, 𝑹𝑺𝑾, 𝑴𝑺𝑺𝑾 (𝑪𝑨𝑹), Program Head of the BS Social Work Department, and 𝑴𝒂’𝒂𝒎 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒂 𝑨𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒍 𝑴𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒛𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒆, 𝑴𝑩𝑨, Director of Community Extension and Services, in the 𝗣𝗔𝗘𝗣𝗜 𝗫 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 held on April 28, 2026, at the Northwestern Mindanao State College of Science and Technology.

Sir Lumosad presented the Social Work Department’s extension program through an oral research presentation, while Ma’am Malazarte showcased its initiatives through a poster presentation.

The CdeK BS Entrepreneurship 4th Year students attended the 𝑳𝑺𝑼 𝑪𝑩𝑨 𝑺𝒚𝒏𝒄 2026 𝒂𝒕 𝑳𝒂 𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚-𝑶𝒛𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒛, where they engaged in insightful discussions and gained valuable perspectives on real-world business and financial practices.

The group was accompanied by their Acting Program Head, 𝑴𝒂'𝒂𝒎 𝑬𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝑨𝒏𝒏𝒆 𝑽𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒐𝒓, 𝑴𝑩𝑨, together with 𝑴𝒂'𝒂𝒎 𝑵𝒊𝒄𝒉𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒄𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒆, 𝑴𝑩𝑨.

The students were also inspired by the valuable financial insights shared by keynote speaker 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠𝙚𝙚 𝙏𝙖𝙣, widely known as the “𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙒𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙝.” His talk provided practical wisdom on financial management, leaving a lasting impact on everyone in attendance.

This experience further strengthened the students’ readiness for their future entrepreneurial paths.

Colegio de Kapatagan successfully concluded its 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐮𝐦 on April 27, 2026, at Waterworld Resort, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte, anchored on the theme “𝑰𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝑬𝒍𝒆𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒆: 𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉.”

The event featured 𝑴𝒔. 𝑱𝒂𝒅𝒛 𝑷𝒔𝒚𝒄𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒓𝒏𝒐𝒄𝒐-𝑫𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒏, 𝑹𝑳, 𝑴𝑳𝑰𝑺, 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒖𝒔 𝑳𝒊𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑴𝑺𝑼–𝑺𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒂𝒏 𝑵𝒂𝒈𝒂 𝑫𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒐, as the Keynote Speaker, who delivered insightful perspectives on advancing student research and fostering academic excellence.

Colegio de Kapatagan marked Earth Day 2026 through a 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞-𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐚. 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐳, 𝐊𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧, 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞. The activity gathered participants who planted trees in support of environmental sustainability and responsibility.

The initiative was conducted through the collaborative efforts of the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗼-𝗔𝗹𝗶, 𝗝𝗗, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗬. The activity was facilitated by the 𝗖𝗱𝗲𝗞 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘇𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿.

Participants included graduating students from Batch 2026, SSC officers, program heads, and selected faculty and staff. For graduating students, the activity formed part of their graduation requirements and served as a symbolic contribution to environmental conservation efforts.

The Earth Day initiative highlights the importance of collective action in environmental protection, emphasizing that small efforts can have a significant long-term ecological impact✨

With a shared sense of purpose and sincerity, Colegio de Kapatagan joined the global observance of Earth Day 2026 through a 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧-𝐔𝐩 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 held on April 22, 2026, at the coastal area of Barangay Lapinig, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte. More than a simple activity, it became a meaningful expression of unity and concern for the environment, as participants worked hand in hand to restore and protect the shoreline.
The initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Barangay Lapinig, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝 - Cgss Kapatagan, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐧.
