The Department of Agriculture - Regional Field Office XII (DA-RFO XII) held its 35th Research for Development Agency In-House Review on July 29–30, 2026, in General Santos City, bringing together researchers and experts to evaluate research initiatives that aim to improve agricultural productivity and uplift the lives of farmers in SOCCSKSARGEN.

A total of 11 completed research studies underwent rigorous evaluation during the two-day activity, with six entries under the Research Category and five under the Development Category.

Strengthening Performance I The Research for Development (R4D) Division successfully conducted its 2nd Quarter Physical and Financial Accomplishment Meeting at Balindog Research and Experiment Station, Kidapawan City last July 17, 2026.

The meeting provides a platform to review program and project accomplishments, assess financial utilization, monitor implementation progress, and identify strategies to address operational challenges. It also reinforced the Division's commitment to transparency, accountability, and results-based management by aligning physical accomplishments with financial performance.

R4D Chief Cecilia A. Parcon encouraged collaboration among project leaders and personnel in ensuring the timely and efficient implementation of research and development initiatives. She also emphasized that together, we remain committed to delivering quality research, innovation, and responsive public service that contribute to a more productive, resilient, and sustainable agriculture sector.
