PYAP-AKO REGION XII 2025 ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
The year 2025 marks a defining chapter for the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines – AKO Region XII, as we strengthened our role as a proactive, policy-driven, and service-oriented youth organization in SOCCSKSARGEN. Guided by the principles of youth empowerment, inclusive participation, and sustainable development, PYAP-AKO Region XII successfully translated vision into action through concrete programs, partnerships, and advocacies that directly benefitted the youth sector.
Throughout the year, the organization demonstrated effective leadership and coordination across the four provinces and four cities of the region, ensuring that youth representation and participation remained active, responsive, and grounded at the grassroots level. PYAP-AKO Region XII implemented capacity-building initiatives, leadership trainings, community engagements, and volunteer-driven activities that enhanced youth competence, civic awareness, and social responsibility, especially among out-of-school youth and marginalized sectors.
In close collaboration with DSWD Field Office XII, local government units, partner agencies, and civil society organizations, PYAP-AKO Region XII advanced youth-centered policies, peace-building efforts, and technology-enabled programs that addressed current challenges while preparing young leaders for future responsibilities. The organization also strengthened its internal governance, organizational structure, and regional identity, ensuring transparency, accountability, and continuity of leadership.
More than the numbers and activities, the accomplishments of PYAP-AKO Region XII in 2025 reflect a collective commitment to service, resilience amid challenges, and an enduring belief in the power of youth to lead, inspire, and create lasting impact. As we move forward, PYAP-AKO Region XII remains steadfast in its mission to cultivate empowered, responsible, and participatory youth who will continue to be partners in nation-building and agents of positive change in the region.
