10 phenomenal performers from across different barangays completely owned the stage during the Kabataan Got Talent culmination. Out of a stacked lineup of contenders, five performers took home this year's awards.

Big congratulations to Nigen Maรฑebog & Lowen Ledon Lucas of The Vower Duo for taking 1st Place! Jan Cedrick Luna claimed 2nd Place, while Lance Delos Reyes took home 3rd Place. We also want to highlight Lance Delos Reyes for winning Most Inspiring Performance and Ma. Ashley Villacruel & Justine Bruno Sunga of AJ Fushion for earning Most Creative Performance.

Today is the final day of our activities, and the excitement peaks tonight. The Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) and Sangguniang Kabataan Federation officially launched ๐‘ณ๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ๐’ˆ๐’ ๐’๐’ˆ ๐‘ฒ๐’‚๐’ƒ๐’‚๐’•๐’‚๐’‚๐’ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” under the theme, "๐‘ช๐’†๐’๐’†๐’ƒ๐’“๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐‘ซ๐’Š๐’—๐’†๐’“๐’”๐’Š๐’•๐’š, ๐‘ผ๐’๐’Š๐’•๐’†๐’… ๐’˜๐’Š๐’•๐’‰ ๐‘ท๐’–๐’“๐’‘๐’๐’”๐’†." The opening ceremony began with a warm Welcome Remarks from the Local Youth Development Officer Ms. Collette Castaรฑeda, followed by an inspiring message of support from our Concurrent MLGOO/Cluster Leader, LGOO VII Renalyn D. Iglesias, setting an empowering tone for the entire celebration.

The morning opened with a deeply meaningful seminar led by Ms. Ena Jane M. Manaligod, RPm, titled "Empowering minds, embracing diversity, and building resilient communities: A gender responsive approach to youth mental health." The session challenged stigmas, emphasized the value of inclusive support systems, and reminded everyone that taking care of mental health is a vital step toward community resilience.

By afternoon, the atmosphere shifted to pure creativity and friendly competition. La Pazeรฑo youth brought their absolute best to the Quiz Bee, Slogan Making, and Poster Making contests, filling the venue with sharp minds, vibrant artwork, and powerful messages of unity.

The excitement is far from over! Mechanics:

The competition is open to all La Pazeรฑos aged 15 to 30 years old!

โ€ข Eligibility & Setup: The competition is open to eligible youth participants, who may perform individually or as a group.
โ€ข Performance Limits: Each act will be given a maximum of 5 minutes to perform.
โ€ข Content Guidelines: Performances must be family-friendly and appropriate for a general audience. โ€ข Content promoting discrimination, bullying, hate speech, or inappropriate themes is strictly prohibited.
โ€ข Props & Materials: Participants are responsible for bringing their own music, props, and performance equipment unless explicitly provided by the organizers.
โ€ข Scheduling: All participants and groups must strictly follow their assigned performance schedule.
โ€ข Judging: The decisions of the board of judges are final and irrevocable.
โ€ข Core Values: Above all, the event promotes respect, inclusivity, and fair participation for everyone.

Anchored on the theme โ€œDifferent Context, Common Aspiration,โ€ this yearโ€™s celebration recognizes the diverse experiences, talents, perspectives, and aspirations of the youth while highlighting the common goals that unite them as partners in building a more inclusive, empowered, and resilient community.

The three-day celebration will feature a series of activities designed to promote youth participation, learning, creativity, and self-expression. Through Linggo ng Kabataan, we celebrate not only the differences that make every young person unique, but also the shared aspirations that bring us together.

May this celebration inspire the youth of La Paz to continue learning, participating, creating, leading, and contributing meaningfully to the community.
