๐๐๐๐ - La Paz participated in the ๐๐๐-๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ ๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐๐๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ซ
conducted on ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐, ๐๐๐๐ at ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ญ๐๐ฅ, ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐จ๐๐๐ง ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ.
Spearheaded by ๐๐๐๐ Region VIII, the summit convened provincial governors, vice governors, city and municipal mayors, vice mayors, local legislators, DILG officers, and key government stakeholders across Eastern Visayas.
Representing La Paz were Mayor Joel Custodio Cinco and ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐ซ๐ฒ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ซ๐จ.
The summit focused on advancing collaborative strategies on the following:
1. Safer Communities Initiative;
2. Community Safety and Crime Prevention;
3. Emergency Preparedness and Response;
4. Anti-Illegal Drugs and Cybercrime Prevention;
5. Local Peacebuilding and Strengthening of Peace and Order Mechanisms.
The following day, ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐, ๐๐๐๐, all DILG Field Officers attended the ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐-๐๐, an activity aimed at harnessing the advantages of artificial intelligence as applied to DILG operations.
The activities underscored the importance of multi-sectoral partnerships and accountable governance in building safer, more peaceful, and resilient communities.
