ATM, an ongoing meeting is being conducted among the Electric Cooperatives (ECs) of the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), namely KAELCO, MOPRECO, IFELCO, and ABRECO, to discuss matters concerning their respective franchises.

The agenda focuses on addressing issues related to franchise renewal, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the collective efforts of the cooperatives to ensure continuous and reliable power service within their franchise areas. The meeting also aims to strengthen coordination among the ECs in representing the region’s interests before national regulatory bodies and in promoting sustainable and community-oriented electric service.

The meeting was facilitated by BENECO.
