The Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction Management Training under the Agent for Risk Damage Management (AGRIDAM) Project for Youth is currently being conducted from May 24โ€“27, 2026 at Ariana Hotel located in Barangay Paringao, Bauang. The activity is organized by the Office of Civil Defense (OCD).

The training gathers youth leaders and advocates to strengthen their knowledge, preparedness, and participation in disaster risk reduction and management initiatives within their respective communities. Representing the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay San Jose are SK Chairperson Kristan Arnold โ€œCHOIโ€ Carreon, SK Member Khayce Erica C. De Vera, SK Member Paolo P. Yaranon, SK Member Nathaniel D. Vergara, and SK Secretary Diana D. Yaranon, who are actively participating in the said activity.

The AGRIDAM Project for Youth aims to empower young people by equipping them with essential skills and strategies in disaster preparedness, response, mitigation, and community resilience to help build safer and more disaster-ready communities.

This is a prime opportunity to gain professional work experience within our municipal offices while earning financial assistance for your education.

Qualifications for Applicants
โ€ข Residency: Must be a resident of Caba, La Union.
โ€ข Age: 15 to 30 years old.
โ€ข Academic Status: Currently enrolled students (with no failing grades) or Out-of-School Youth (OSY) with the intent to enroll in the upcoming school year.
โ€ข Financial Status: Belonging to a family within the low-income bracket.

Required Documents
Please prepare the following for submission:
1. Birth Certificate (PSA or Local Civil Registrar copy).
