๐Ÿ’™ GOING THE EXTRA MILE FOR OUR INDIGENOUS PEOPLES

September 3, 2026 | Barangay Arosip, Bacnotan, La Union

As part of its commitment to bring services closer to Indigenous Peoples (IPs), the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Sudipen Community Service Center (CSC) went the extra mile in providing basic health assistance to members of the Indigenous Peoples Organization (IPO) of Barangay Arosip, Bacnotan, La Union during the conduct of the Field-Based Investigation (FBI).

Taking the opportunity to serve beyond the primary activity, the CSC facilitated an initial health check-up for IPO members who were present during the FBI. Following the assessment, prescribed maintenance medicines were also provided to those who needed them.

This simple initiative reflects the CSC's commitment to ensuring that service to Indigenous Peoples goes beyond regular office transactionsโ€”bringing assistance directly to the community whenever an opportunity arises.

Through initiatives such as this, the NCIP Sudipen CSC continues to embody service with compassion, responsiveness, and dedication, always striving to go the extra mile for our IP communities. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™
