IN MEMORIAM | Hon. Geraldine “Denny” R. Ortega

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of La Union joins the family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones of Hon. Geraldine “Denny” R. Ortega in mourning her passing.

As a former Member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, she served the Province of La Union with dedication, integrity, and a deep commitment to public service. Her contributions and the lives she touched through her service will remain a meaningful part of our province’s history.

May her legacy of service and compassion continue to inspire us all.

Our deepest condolences to her bereaved family and loved ones.

In the interest of transparency and public accountability, the 24th Sangguniang Panlalawigan of La Union officially releases its 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (January 1 to June 30, 2026).

Staying true to its commitment to responsive governance, this report highlights the milestone ordinances, vital resolutions, and policy directions enacted to uplift the lives of every Elyucano. We invite all stakeholders and constituents to review our legislative strides as your provincial government is continuously working toward a more progressive, inclusive, and resilient La Union.

🇵🇭 Sa paggunita ng 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗶 ngayong 𝗶𝗸𝗮-𝟯𝟭 𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗴𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼, 2026, ang Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng La Union ay nagpupugay sa mga bayani ng ating bansa, lalo na sa mga bayaning Ilokano na sina Gabriela Silang, Diego Silang, Isabelo Abaya, Juan Luna, Antonio Luna, Padre Jose Burgos, at sa lahat ng mga nagpapakabayani sa ating lipunan sa pang-araw-araw. 🫡

Ang kani-kanilang sakripisyo, tapang, at pagmamahal sa bayan ay nag-iwan ng pamanang nagbibigay-direksyon sa ating kasaysayan. Ipinakita nila ang halaga ng pagtatanggol sa kalayaan at kapakanan ng mamamayan.

Sama-sama nating gunitain ang kanilang mga nagawa at patuloy na isabuhay ang kanilang halimbawa sa ating paglilingkod sa lalawigan ng La Union at sa buong bansa. 🤝🏛️
