MDRRMO Laak Wraps Up Final Batch of 3-Day First Aid and BLS Training

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Laak has wrapped up the final batch of its 3-day Standard First Aid with Basic Life Support (BLS) training.

Barangay functionaries from different barangays took part in the activity, where they were trained in essential life-saving skills including CPR, splinting, bandaging, and proper techniques in carrying and transporting patients. The training was designed to strengthen their readiness in responding to emergencies.

To further enhance their skills, participants also joined a vehicular accident simulation exercise, allowing them to apply what they learned in a more realistic emergency setting. The activity helped improve their coordination and response during critical situations.

The training is part of MDRRMO Laak’s continuing efforts to strengthen community preparedness.

⚠️ Note: The injuries shown in the simulation used artificial/fake blood for training purposes only.
