‎The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Bai Lagayan is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Educational Assistance Program for eligible college students.
‎
‎This program is intended to provide financial assistance to deserving students who are currently not beneficiaries of any scholarship program, subject to the availability of funds.
‎
‎Applicants must be:
✔ Currently enrolled in a college or university; and
✔ Not receiving any scholarship assistance from any government or private institution.
‎

The Sangguniang Kabataan - Ba-i, Lagayan, Abra led by Hon. Glaiza B. Talape, SK Chairperson, conducted a house-to-house Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) Profiling to gather and update essential information of the youth in the barangay. This activity aims to establish an accurate and comprehensive database that will serve as the foundation for future youth-centered programs, projects, and activities.

‎Through the cooperation of the community, the SK continues to strengthen youth participation and ensure that every young person is represented and given opportunities to engage in community development.

SK LAGAYAN CBDRRM 3-Days Training held at Mt. Carmel, Pidigan, Abra. This training aims to train the youth on Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (CBDRRM) under the AGRIDAM Program, promoting the importance of disaster preparedness, response, and community resilience. Truly, “Kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan.”

This training was not only about learning CBDRRM, but also about learning discipline, respect, teamwork, and building friendships with fellow youth from different barangays and municipalities. It was truly a meaningful and unforgettable experience for all of us.

To our Mayor, Hon. Edmarc Languisan Crisologo thank you so much po for supporting us in this training.
