As part of its ongoing commitment to a safe and resilient workplace, DARPO-Laguna successfully conducted a seminar on "๐๐ข๐๐ง๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ฎ ๐๐ง๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฃ๐๐จ๐จ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ฉ๐ฎ ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐ฃ๐ฉ ๐๐ฉ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ก๐๐๐" last September 24, 2026.
Headway for the event was led by PARPO II Rommel Q. Bote, reflecting the office's proactive stance on employee welfare. DARPO Laguna strictly adheres to its statutory mandates under 2010). The initiative also aligns with Civil Service Commission, Department of Health, and Department of Labor and Employment (CSC-DOH-DOLE) Joint Memorandum Circular No. 1, s. 2020, which institutionalizes Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards across government workplaces to protect personnel from hazards and safeguard public assets.
The activity centered on an in-depth orientation on Basic Life Support, designed to enhance organizational capacity, sharpen emergency response skills, and ensure seamless operational continuity during unforeseen disasters.
To bring invaluable expertise, the office welcomed distinguished resource speakers from the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) of Laguna: ๐๐ด.
Their sessions walked participants through the key principles of OSH and disaster risk reduction for government provincial offices, emphasizing that proactive hazard identification, emergency readiness, and a deeply ingrained safety culture are essential not just for regulatory compliance, but for protecting the very people who keep public service moving forward every single day.
DARPO Laguna likewise extends its deepest gratitude to the Provincial Government of Laguna for generously allowing the agency to use the Cultural Center as the venue for this successful and meaningful undertaking.
